For years, I noticed a pattern as a driving instructor: many of my strongest first-time drivers came from farms or had experience driving golf carts. Why? They had already developed the coordination between their hands, feet, and eyes that driving requires.
Today, racing simulators (also called racing rigs) may offer many of those same benefits in a safe, controlled environment.
How Racing Rigs Can Help Young Future Drivers
Develop hand-eye-foot coordination by requiring drivers to steer, accelerate, brake, and react simultaneously.
Build muscle memory for smooth steering, throttle control, and braking.
